General Principles:
- Camera Positioning
Monitoring points should cover the entire construction area to minimize blind spots and avoid backlight conditions in the image.
CCTV units should be mounted securely and stably, avoiding areas prone to flooding or water exposure.
- Camera Height & Angle Requirements
The camera should be positioned at a height (h) of 1.3–2.0 meters above ground with a downward tilt angle (α) of 10°–20°.
(Do not place cameras directly on the ground; tripods are recommended. Portable cameras: 1.3m; telescopic cameras: up to 2m.)
The detection distance (d) between the camera and the monitored area should be greater than 1m and less than 20m.
Ensure stable installation to prevent image shaking.
The camera should face the monitoring area directly, without obstructions. The captured image should be upright, clear, and free from glare or backlighting.

- Adjusting the Monitoring View
After installation, adjust the camera zoom and field of view according to monitoring requirements to achieve the optimal visual angle.
- Confined Space Construction (2–3 Cameras Recommended)
Monitoring Area 1: Entrance/Exit
The camera should cover the access point. Avoid obstructions such as barriers or fencing in front of the lens to ensure accurate AI detection of personnel behavior.

Monitoring Area 2: Underground Interior Space
Install explosion-proof cameras securely on the wall inside the confined area to monitor internal construction activities.

- Enclosed AI Camera Unit
After the enclosed AI unit has been powered on and tested, close the cover — this will not affect normal monitoring.
Place the unit in a shaded and sheltered location to assist with heat dissipation.
Do not open the housing unnecessarily; during rainy weather, make sure the unit is properly stored to prevent water ingress.

- Maintenance
Clean and maintain the camera lens surface regularly.

- Incorrect Installation Examples
❌ Camera tilted sideways

❌ Camera placed directly on the ground

❌ Half-body view / unstable setup that may easily fall
